Description:
BN-1200 is a broad spectrum terminal disinfectant based on 5th generation quaternary ammonium compound. It is used for versatile applications for disinfection & sterilization in OT, ICU, ICCU, NICU, Cathlab, Dialysis centres and all other Critical areas in hospitals, throughout the institutions such as Pharma industries, Food processing industries, beverage industries, corporate and institutions.

BN-1200 Offers:
  • Highly concentrated quaternary ammonium formula provides excellent one-step, effective cleaning and disinfection.
  • Kills the organisms that cause odors and works as an odor countractant to further eliminate odors not associated with bacteria.
  • Kills microorganisms including HIV-1, HCV, HBV, Gram Negative, Gram Positive pathogens, MRSA, MRSE, Herpes Simplex Types 1&2, Influenza Type A2, Adenovirus, Rota virus and many more.
Use Instructions:

Aerial Disinfection:
For Aerial Disinfection Make a dilution of 1:256 (10 ml in 1 litre) of BN-1200 and fog with fogger machine for 1000 cubic feet area (28.3 cum) of Operation Theatre, ICCU, NICU, Cath lab, AKD etc. Allow 40 min before re-entering the premises.
Apart from the critical area of critical area of hospital, Dental clinics, blood bank laboratories, burn units, pharma industries. Fogging can be carried out in various other areas to prevent air born diseases and infections such a HIV, HCV, HBV, Polio, H5N1, Leginellosis, Swine flu, influenza, tuberculosis, anthrax, fox, measles, Delhi super bug.

Surface Disinfection:
Bn-1200 is used at dilution of 1:256 (4 ml in 1 litre water for 100 sft) for critical area disinfection Such as operation theatre, Endoscopy, dialysis centers, Emergency, Labor room, Microbiology, walls, Bed, Tables, Lamps etc.

Mode of action:
  • Adsorption of compound on the bacteria/ viral/ fungal cell surface.
  • Diffusion through the cell wall. Binding to cytoplasmic membrane.
  • Release K ions and other cytoplasmic constituents.
  • Precipitation of cell contents leading to the death of the cell and inactivation of Bacteria/ Viruses/ Fungi.
Storage & Packing:
  • BN-1200 should be stored in original containers in cool and dry place, away from sources of heat, and direct sunlight. Please refer label and MSDS for details.
  • Shelf life: 3 years if stored properly and 64 days for diluted solution.
